It's 4:54 in the morning, waiting to get on a bus to go to MEPS. Today will be a day of many unknowns, as will the next 12 weeks. God is with me and you are praying for me so I have peace :)
I've been hearing a lot of interesting stories, like I might not get to sleep the first day, and uhh, idk it's 4:58 now and I think I got 3 hrs of sleep last night! I'm typing this up on my iPhone and it's pretty sloooooooow
Well happy Monday everyone :-D my birthday is on Friday, so I hope you celebrate for me!!! I'm gonna keep it on the down low cause I've heard that people like to play jokes!

10 DAYS!!!
Hey everyone! It's Thursday :) I'm really looking forward to this weekend, it's my last weekend in the cities, WOW!
Tonight I'm going to classes at Bally (step and yoga) should be a fun way to spend my thursday night
Tomorrow starts off with girls night, woot woot! Definately need a night out with lots of fun :) This week has been kinda slow and boring.
I talked to my recruiter this morning and he said my ship date was moved up! That's GOOD, I'll be gone by Halloween, going to have to celebrate early!
Next weekend is my going away party! I'm absolutely pumped, just trying to enjoy my time of relaxation and peace...
This is ONE HAPPY GIRL!

One Happy Gal
While in the midst of watching funniest home video's I feel the need to blog SO I'll tell you about my week :)
Started out Monday with feed my starving children, really cool orginization, It was nice to learn about what they do and help out a little bit.
Tuesday was kinda boring, Gym, tanning, laundry, all that easy stuff! haha
Wednesday I took off for Duluth/Superior to stay with Stacy, Sadie, and Kenzie, had a blast!
Thursday was my first PT test, fealt pretty good about that :) I'm all ready to go to basic training now, funny thing actually... I'm actually going to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and then after that I'll get one week off and then go to Fort Jackson, South Carolina, for AIT to be a Chaplains Assistant!
I can't believe it's only 2 weeks away! Reality is kicking in a little bit more every day, my lazy days are OVER, adios! ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Anyways, I stayed in Superior for a couple days, and then came back Saturday night!
Saturday night consisted of Gym, Tanning, Pedicure, Theatre, doesn't get any better than that YO.
AT LAST Sunday, got up and did a douple church, Substance, and then rushed to The River! It was nice to see friendly faces as I always do at church :-D after church hit up the gym again.
UGH, tomorrow is Monday again, it's going to be a long two weeks but packed with tons of fun, meeting with a personal trainer this week, bible study, weekend with gals, sounds good.
16 days! Wow just typing that makes my tummy flip ;) i like it

loving october
Hey Everyone,
It's been a while huh?
October has been great so far, keeping busy. Started off the month in Superior visiting friends and family, hit up the apple festival in bayfield, WI. Came back to the cities and spent a beautiful week here, the weather has just been out of this world amazing :)
I don't think I've ever enjoyed the outdoors so much in October, God is blessing us with nice weather, and many other things.
I revisited munsinger and clemens gardens in St. Cloud, got to see my Grandma Nelson!
Found an awesome spot called Quarry Park, and just got back from camping at St. Croix Falls.
Taking advantage of the outdoors pleases me greatly :-D
Tomorrow I'm volunteering for feed my starving children, should be a fun time, and then later on in the week I'll head up north to see the army recruiters...
There's lots more but I just can't think of it all right now, looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again (been in a tent all weekend) OH! met some really funny people camping LOL meeting new people will always be fun!

Yay it's Saturday the 25th! found a heads up penny on the treadmill this morning!
what have i been doing? not blogging...
OK let me go back a couple weeks and figure out what I've been up to!
OH! Jimmy and Kate came to town last weekend, was nice to see them :) We pretty much just went out to eat, Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday's, great places to go.
I've been spending my mornings at the gym (Bally) or at lake calhoun (6.5 miles twice around) best run ever, cause i dont think about anything but the beautiful scenery, way easier than running on a treadmill UGH!
I'm not taking taekwondo classes anymore, and I'm not volunteering at the animal shelter, didn't have as much fun as I thought with those two activities... (black belts are very intimidating, and cat poop is gross)
Well I discovered the Edina Library which is a nice quiet place to hang out and get books to read :) love reading, especially when I have a lot of spare time.
Kinda miss working in the restaurant industry but not THAT much, really looking forward to being a chaplains assistant, wish I could leave like TOMORROW!!! I'm gonna loose my mind for the next 39 days and then loose it again when I get there, sounds like a plan :-D
I have a couple things planned for the weekend but nothing too crazy, looking forward to heading up north next week to see friends and family!

Sunday Funday :-D
Sunday morning at Substance Church in Fridley was the best start to the day! Definately going back there next week, seriously if you need to hear something good, that's the place to be. After church me and Mama went to La Cocina with Joni and Ray (aunt and uncle) for some yummy chicken tacos! Yeah I kinda started eating meat again, just like chicken really... Anyways it was really good and a great time to catch up on chit chat.
The Edina Fall into the Arts Festival was today (most beautiful weather EVER) we walked around for about an hour and saw some really cool artists :) i was going to buy this little spoon ring cause it reminded me of a friends ring... but it was 25$ and i was feeling cheep, oh well I can live without it.
Got home and went for a bike ride around the neighborhood, and then drove to Apple Valley to hang out with Kathryne Kuhlmann! We walked around the lake a couple times and then defeated the purpose of that with blizzards at DQ!
Pretty much today was another perfect day in the twin cities, life is good, and God is love :)

The most beautiful day!!!
I'm sitting in the grass at the park down from my house and I'm just completely amazed at how beautiful this day is. Sun is shining, light breeze, 72 degrees, crickets chirping in the tall grass, ducks swimming around in the pond, I could go on describing this scene that I am in forever! God is good, and I am really going to miss days like this, just makes me appreciate life a Whole lot more :)
Well this week has gone by really fast, I'm enjoying the unemployed life, and loving life.
I will start volunteering at the animal shelter on Tuesday which should be super fun, taking care of little puppies and kitties, I will definately get my fix :-D. I started a new step class at Bally total fitness and I like it way better than taekwondo, but I will probably do both...
Tonight me and Mom are trying out a new Italian place in st Louis park, Velisci? Can't remember the name of it, there's nothing like good pasta and wine YUMM
Right now I'm gonna walk back 4 blocks to my house and take a little mid day snooze, life is rough haha
I don't think it's quite hit me that I'm leaving for the military in a month and a half, but it's getting closer, only 53 days and I'm nothing but excited :)
